About NYSAHI

The New York State Association of Home Inspectors (NYSAHI) was formed in 1999 by inspectors from across New York State. We are an all volunteer not-for-profit organization created for the express purpose of representing the interests of the home inspection profession, and the public it serves, in regard to licensing and regulation.

The organization presently has over 300 inspector members in New York and is open to all professional home inspectors in the state. Our organization is governed by our board of directors. The board is composed of two representatives from each of our "participating organizations" plus one "director at large" that represents our members who are not affiliated with one of our participating organizations.
